Lottery Bar near Foster & Powell under new ownership, looking for employees.

We are trying to build a great crew, while setting accurate expectations. Under the previous owner, sales in all departments were very low (average daily food sales = $15, average daily liquor sales = $12). Previous opperations limited lottery revenue as well, so there is not currently a well established clientele. Because of these factors, we do not believe bartenders will make great tips in the begining. We are looking for individuals who can work 2 days a week, while maintaining their current employment, or who can afford to work for minimal tips plus wages. We hope that in the future as we develope a strong customer base, and tips increase, our employees will be able to increase their hours and work more shifts with us. This is NOT an opportunity to quit your well paying job and come work for us.

This business will be in transition for several months as we work to transform & design a business the neighborhood will embrace. We will be taking this from a low producing unwelcoming lottery bar with few sales, and working to transform this small space into a full fledged bar that also has lottery. We are designing a space inspired by the hit TV show "The Golden Girls", and working towards a complimentary southern Florida themed food and drink menu. This will NOT happen over night, and will take time.

The new owner is a bartender with a Business, and Marketing degrees, and has been in the industry over 30 years. We believe that if we take care of our employees, they will take care of our customers, and happy customers is how we will be successful. We understand that bartenders survive on tips, and WE will be doing everything possible to maximize your tips as quickly as possible.

If you would like to be part of the journey of this hopefully great establishment, and think you can handle the stormy-ness of the first few months of transition, reach out to us so we can set up an appointment and tell you more.

Please have lottery & service experience, and current OLCC and food handlers permits.
