At the helm of the team behind Aita Clinton Hill is Mayflower — a small speakeasy bar tucked away on the Waverly side of the restaurant, serving seasonal and classic cocktails, natural wine, and a rotating tap of local beer in a cozy atmosphere with no pretense. We offer an extensive selection of special spirits with a focus on small, minority-owned/women-led brands and an emphasis on Aperitivo/Bitters and Amaro.
Since 2012, we have welcomed both beloved neighbors and new faces from all over. Our philosophy has always been quite simple: celebrate diversity, make good cocktails, and create a memory to hold onto forever.
We are looking for hospitality professionals who know how to drive the vibe and bring in a crowd, who love good music, and who love doing what they do.
Who We Are Looking For
A part-time bartender (2-3 shifts) who is able to jive with us; someone who commands the room, understands social cues, and wants to grow with an established, growing company. Must love good music, good vibes, and good people. Must love working in hospitality.
This position is ideal for a seasoned bartender looking to hone their skills, a bartender looking to move into a head bartender role, or even a current head bartender looking to take the next step in their bar career by learning directly from the management/ownership team how to operate a successful cocktail bar. This role is a solo bartender job and requires immense attention to detail and strong work ethic even though the bartender will be working alone. If you just want to make fast cash money and expect short, easy shifts this job is not for you. If you cannot commit to your scheduled shifts or have a tendency to call out of your shifts, this job is definitely not for you.
We are looking for a Bartender who can work at least 2 shifts and will have the opportunity to pick up more as they become available.
