Bartender/Server

Hiring: Server/Bartender Needed Immediately!

Position Details

Role: Bartender/Server with strong cocktail skills

Shifts: 4-5 dinner shifts per week, 4-5 daytime shifts per week

Pay: $19.18 per hour plus tips

Experience Required

Serving: Minimum of 2 years

Bartending: At least 6 months

Qualifications

Must be 21 years or older

Excellent serving skills and customer service abilities

Solid knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer

Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced BUSY environment

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Willingness to help with additional tasks as needed

Enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking

Familiar with Toast POS system or similar

Current RBS and Food Handler certifications

High standards of hygiene for both restaurant and personal appearance

Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting, and serving for up to 8 hours per day.

About Heads and Tails Barbecue: We are a 4-star, casual barbecue and bar on San Pablo Avenue in Berkeley. Our restaurant capacity is up to 100 guests, including 12 at the bar, and offers a Tex-Mex-inspired barbecue menu featuring smoked brisket, pulled pork, chicken, tri-tip, sandwiches, burgers, wings, and more. We have 8 big-screen TV's that show everything from classic movies to sports. We serve a variety of cocktails, craft beers, and wines. Open daily for lunch and dinner, Heads and Tails is a fun, welcoming place to work!
