Bathhouse Daytime Supervisor

Onsen is a Japanese inspired bathhouse in the Tenderloin, offering a communal space in the middle of the city. The focus is simple: create a welcoming, well run environment where guests can slow down, connect, and enjoy a few rituals done thoughtfully. The bathhouse includes a hot pool, cold plunge, sauna, steam room, and a shared lounge.

Onsen is currently looking for a part time Supervisor to join the team Friday through Sunday.

About the Role

This is a hands on position focused on keeping daily operations running smoothly. You will support the team on the floor, handle guest needs, oversee opening and closing duties, and help maintain a space that feels relaxed, social, and well cared for throughout service.

The role also includes supporting light daytime food service. As that side of the business grows, there will be more opportunities to be involved and to increase overall earnings through tips.

You will also help with light operational tasks behind the scenes such as washing spa cups, managing supply orders, and supporting the general manager with day to day logistics.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in hospitality such as restaurants, hotels, spas, or similar environments

• Comfortable leading a small team while maintaining high service standards

• Clear and calm communicator who is organized and proactive

• Reliable, collaborative, and able to take ownership without ego

• Interest in growing into additional responsibility over time

Compensation and Perks
