Cashier needed for a new fast casual counter style deli/cafe

Ammazza Deli is the brand-new venture in East Williamsburg from the team behind the beloved neighborhood restaurant Ammazzacaffè. After years of Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition and community love, we’re bringing our quality-driven, multi-cuisine deli concept to the neighborhood. Think high-quality ingredients, great food, and affordable prices — not your typical deli.

We’re looking for a part-time, customer-facing cashier to join our growing team ASAP!

What we’re looking for

• At least 1 year of restaurant or food service experience

• entry level prepping experience (you will be helping kitchen)

• POS experience

• Strong people skills

• basic barista knowledge

• Self-motivated and reliable

• US citizen or legal work authorization - fluent in English is a must

• Able to lift 40 lbs

• Clean, organized, and team-oriented

Job Description

• Customer-facing service

• Packing food for takeout, delivery, and in-store orders

• Light kitchen help when needed

• Handling cash and basic inventory

• Keeping the workspace clean and organized

Available Shifts

Monday: 3pm – 8pm

Wednesday: 8am - 8pm

Friday: 8am - 2pm
