Driver / Market Vendor

The primary function of this position is to pack, deliver, and sell our product at various Greenmarkets throughout New York City (particularly Manhattan and Brooklyn). As a part of our Greenmarket team, you will be the face of our company and lead our effort to get local shoppers excited about great bread. This position will require you to work weekends and holidays.

Successful candidates will

• Feel comfortable driving a cargo van around NYC (driver’s license and clean driving record required)

• Embrace early mornings with start times generally at 6 or 7 AM

• Be reliable, focused, organized, communicative, and curious, with hospitality, time management, and problem solving skills

• Have a receptive and charitable attitude toward constructive feedback

• Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions

• Be able to lift 50 pounds in and out of a van repetitively

While performing the duties of the job, the Driver / Market Vendor is regularly required to stand and walk; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. They must regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds.
