Every day, each Fooda location is served by a different restaurant that comes onsite and serves fresh lunch from their chef’s unique menu. Fooda is currently recruiting for a part time Event Coordinator in our Bay Area market. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.

Hours are Tuesday-Thursday from 10am-2pm, dedicated to one of our newest clients in downtown San Francisco. Opportunity for additional hours on an ad-hoc basis.

What You’ll Be Doing

-Ensuring we are providing an excellent, high-quality service experience day in and day out.

-Manage the Fooda lunch program at our client site in a variety of capacities, including: 1.) being onsite to set-up, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and setup and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience, 2.) getting restaurants and delivery drivers onsite and access to the building

-Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures

-Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals

-Troubleshoot technical issues with onsite technology, and TV menu boards

-Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer

-Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality

-Escalate issues to Client Success Lead when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve

-Tuesday-Thursday, 10am-2pm

Who You Are

You have a background in food service, hospitality, or customer support

You love building relationships with customers and enjoy customer service

You are friendly, high energy and love interacting with other people

You are savvy with technology and will be comfortable in a fast-paced start-up

You are resourceful, exhibit grace under pressure, and know you’re capable of finding solutions

You are a strong communicator and self-starter

You are organized and detail oriented. Type-A personality is a plus!

You have your own vehicle

Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
