*We have two locations one in Long Beach and one in Ilwaco, you will rotate between both.

• Every employee (over 10hr per week) must work 2 full weekends a month

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair.

Operate POS system efficiently and accurately.

Manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity, ensuring correct change and transaction records.

Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing personalized recommendations.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the area, including food preparation stations.

Follow food safety protocols and food handling procedures to ensure high standards of hygiene and quality. .

Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.

Uphold all safety standards related to food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.

Skills

Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles within cafés or restaurants.

Familiarity with a POS system

Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests.

Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.

Basic math proficiency for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math accuracy.

Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.

Ability to perform serving duties confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor.

Experience with food preparation or light food service is a plus.

Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers seamlessly.
