Experienced Bartender Needed-5+ Years of Experience Minimum

We are a long standing, high volume bar in the downtown area of Manhattan looking for the right individual to join our team this summer. The ideal candidate will have

• AT MINIMUM 5 years of NYC, high-volume bartending
• Strong beer, wine, and spirit knowledge

-Strong classic and modern cocktail skills

• Ability to free pour, bartend with both hands, multi-task

-Organization skills

• Comfortable sharing a well

-Service bar experience

• Ability to work well with others-during peak times we have 6 bartenders behind the bar
• Outgoing personality
• Punctual
• Knowledge of sports is a plus
• Ability to work in a hot, crowded establishment at times

-Must be able to facilitate the party atmosphere without getting caught up in the party. We are here to create an experience for our guests, not to a party for ourselves. We are looking for someone who is comfortable conversing with regulars and building business during slower shifts, self-driven to stay busy, can maintain cleanliness and standards during off-peak times on their own, and has the skills to ramp up into multiple higher gears during busy times.

• We do not have a lot of turnover with our bartenders, this is a great opportunity for someone to get their foot in the door during our slower months, fill in shifts, and get the lay of the land before we ramp back up in the fall.
