Farmers Market Bakery – Market Staff Needed (Lakewood Area)

Local bakery looking for reliable, energetic people to help run farmers market booths. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys customer interaction, food service, and being part of a growing business.

Positions Available

• Position 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday markets

• Position 2: Saturday & Sunday markets

• Position 3: Saturdays and every other Sunday

Pay

• $200+ per market Willing to consider paying a commission

• Plus tips Tips are typically not as good as restaurants

• Strong earning potential for the right person

What the Job Involves

• Picking up product and equipment from the bakery in Lakewood

• Setting up and operating farmers market booths

• Loading/unloading tables, tents, weights, and bakery products

• Providing excellent customer service

• Breaking down and returning equipment after markets

Some days begin as early as 5:00 AM and may not end until 3:00–7:00 PM, depending on the market.

Requirements

• Must have a reliable vehicle large enough to transport:

• 4–5 plastic tables

• Tent/canopy

• Tent weights

• Bakery products and supplies

(Small cars likely will not work.)

• Must be dependable, organized, and motivated

• Looking for someone who cares about customer service and the bottom line

Helpful Experience (Not Required)

• Farmers market experience

• Barista or bartending skills

• Food service or serving experience

• Baking experience

If you have baking skills, there may also be opportunities for part-time baking work.
