Floor Manager – The Wallace Lounge
The Wallace Lounge isn’t looking for a “manager.”
We’re looking for someone who runs the room.
This role is for a floor leader who can command energy, control service, and elevate both staff and guest experience without hiding in the office.
If you need hand-holding, this isn’t for you.
If you take pride in running a tight, high-level operation—keep reading.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Owning the floor every shift—service flow, pacing, and guest experience
- Leading and coaching staff in real time (not after the fact)
- Maintaining high standards without killing the vibe
- Handling pressure, problems, and personalities with control and professionalism
- Being the bridge between kitchen, bar, and front of house
- Setting the tone—energy, urgency, and accountability
What We’re Looking For
- Strong presence. People listen when you speak.
- High standards and zero tolerance for sloppy service
- Calm under pressure—you don’t get rattled, you get sharper
- Detail-obsessed but still big-picture aware
- Natural leader, not a title-holder
- 2+ years in a high-volume, high-standard environment (lounge or upscale preferred)
What We Don’t Want
- Clipboard managers who avoid confrontation
- People who “wait to be told”
- Anyone more focused on schedule than performance
- Ego without execution
What You Get
- A serious platform to run a real operation—not babysit one
- Competitive pay (based on experience)
- A team that expects a lot—and delivers a lot
- If you’ve ever said, “I could run this place better,” this is your shot to prove it.
Apply with your résumé + a few sentences on how you run a floor.
