Dead Letter is a new restaurant concept from the girl & the fig, located on the Sonoma Square. We are currently hiring experienced FOH Supervisors to join our opening team.

Dead Letter reflects our continued focus on thoughtful food, strong team culture, and a commitment to quality in every part of the guest experience. This is an opportunity to be part of a new kitchen from the beginning and contribute to building a supportive, well-run environment.

About the Role

We are seeking team members for front-of-house positions who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a collaborative service team. These roles are essential to daily operations and focus on providing a consistent, welcoming guest experience in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates are dependable, team-oriented, and committed to thoughtful, attentive service.

Pay & Schedule

$35–$45/hour, depending on experience Full-time and part-time positions available PM availability Wednesday through Sunday What You'll Be Doing

You’ll support both operational leadership and guest service, including:

Overseeing daily front-of-house operations and service flow Ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction and service standards Supporting and guiding team members throughout each shift Assisting with training, coaching, and performance development Managing cash handling procedures and POS-related functions Completing operational tasks such as scheduling support, reports, and shift documentation Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the restaurant Stepping into service roles as needed to support the team Required Experience & Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant leadership or supervisory role Strong knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy service periods Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays Certifications

Food Safety Manager Certification (required or ability to obtain) Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification (required or ability to obtain) Valid California driver’s license and ability to be approved as a company driver Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and frequently lift 10–20 lbs Ability to bend, reach, and move throughout the restaurant Benefits
