THE ROLE The Toledo Complex includes the Huntington Center and the Glass City Center, and this role provides support across both locations. Under the direction of the Director of Food and Beverage this individual is responsible for working in conjunction with other members of the events staff to oversee all food-service operations for events, ensuring smooth planning, excellent guest experience, and profitable outcomes in the Toledo Complex. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Planning, coordinating, and executing catering services for events of all sizes. Manage staff and ensure high-quality food presentation and service. Work with food and beverage team to manage the department budget. Assist catering sales and service personnel with sales / upselling strategies, service recovery, and problem solving, as needed. Carry out specific sales plan relating to events using support of advertising, as requested by the Director of Food and Beverage. Audit client accounts / profiles in property management system to ensure accuracy of information. Assist Director in ensuring sales policies are adhered to.
