General Overview

Runners are responsible for ensuring guests’ food is brought out to them with accuracy, the proper temperature, and within a timely manner.

General Duties & Responsibilities Pleasantly interact with guests to ensure satisfactory experience. Consistently deliver highest standards of service. Run food from the kitchen to guests. Inform the guests of the food items being delivered to their table. Verify any food delivered is accurate and quality check to see if the guests have any immediate needs. Execute non-alcoholic beverage refills, if requested by guest. Remove used plate ware, glassware, silverware, napkins, etc. when guests no longer need them. Clear table after guests, wipe table and seats with dampened sanitation cloths. Complete opening and closing side work for shift daily. Stack dirty tableware removed from guest tables neatly in kitchen for cleaning. Maintain sanitation to Department of Health standards; Keep work area clean and organized  Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment and tools only as intended, properly and safely. Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by Department of Health requirements.

Qualifications May be required to lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects up to 50 lbs. Fluent in written and spoken English. Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously and for extended periods as required to perform essential job functions. Ability to perform and thrive in fast-paced environment. The ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal direction. The ability to work independently or as part of a team. Able to approach their work with a sense of ownership and urgency.
