Food Runner – Full-Time / Part-Time | Fine Dining Restaurant

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and team-driven Food Runner to join our front-of-house team and help deliver an exceptional dining experience. This role is essential in ensuring food is delivered accurately, efficiently, and with the highest level of presentation and service.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately

Ensure all dishes are presented properly and meet restaurant standards before leaving the kitchen

Communicate clearly with chefs, expediters, and servers to ensure smooth service flow

Assist servers with table maintenance and guest needs during service

Run sauces, condiments, and additional items to tables as needed

Describe dishes to guests when delivering food, including key ingredients or preparation details when appropriate

Support team members by assisting with clearing plates and resetting tables when needed

Maintain cleanliness and organization in service stations and expo areas

Assist with opening and closing side work, including stocking plates, utensils, and service items

Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless guest service

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in a high-volume or fine dining restaurant preferred

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized and composed

Positive, professional, and guest-focused attitude

Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency

Ability to stand and be active for extended periods of time

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 15 lbs frequently

Ability to bend, stoop, and move efficiently throughout service

Open availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
