Busy Downtown Evergreen bar and grill is looking for a front of house manager!  Family owned for over 25 years, we’ve got dive-bar vibes with a touch of music venue thrown in.  We serve high quality bar food, with as much made from scratch as possible, and a robust selection of Colorado beers and full bar offerings.  Both a tourist hub and a locals hang-out, it’s a fun but fast paced environment that calls for someone with extensive serving and bartending experience, great organizational skills, and the ability to go with the flow and embrace the occasional moments of chaos.  We are looking for someone to lead the floor and support service staff, maintain standards of service and cleanliness, and manage labor and front of house scheduling, all while keeping guests happy.

Primary Responsibilities General oversight and management of all areas of the restaurant, including making final decisions on matters of importance to our guests. Assist with front of house scheduling, purchasing restaurant wares, and other daily administrative duties. Manage Toast for menu and price accuracy, including daily specials. Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms and appearance standards. Ensure positive guest experience in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking all appropriate actions to turn a dissatisfied guest into a return guest. Be present on the floor, lead by example, coach others, and support the service team in any way necessary - running food, running drinks, making cocktails, bussing tables.  This job is not for someone who doesn’t want to work hard alongside the team.  While the job includes some minor administrative duties, this is NOT an administrative position. Service Expectations: Lead five shifts per week, maintaining proper staffing levels and supporting and supervising service staff. Consistently exhibit and display strong examples of leadership. Mentor staff, offering feedback on better ways to achieve success. Maintain consistent cleaning standards. Bring a humble, positive, happy and confident attitude to every shift. Display a mastery of menu and product knowledge—be ready and able to answer everyone’s questions, guests and staff! Required qualifications- At least 4 years serving and bartending in high volume environments 1 year of restaurant management experience Experience with Toast POS system Professional and competent written and verbal communication skills Proficient computer skills Strong ability to multitask Demonstrable leadership qualities and the ability to lead and work as an effective part of a team Preferred qualifications- 3 years restaurant management experience Experience managing a location with extensive outdoor seating Advanced beer and spirit knowledge
