Overview: Le Parisien Bakery, an upscale French bakery and restaurant, is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Front-of-House Team Member with a minimum of 2 years in the hospitality industry. Join our team and be a key player in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our discerning clientele.
Responsibilities
- Guest Service: Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Order Taking: Efficiently and accurately take customer orders, offering recommendations and providing detailed information about menu items.
- Table Management: Oversee the seating and arrangement of guests, maintaining a welcoming and organized dining area.
- Communication: Collaborate with the kitchen and support staff to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Upselling: Proactively suggest additional menu items, beverages, or desserts to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Payment Processing: Handle guest payments, process transactions accurately, and manage cash handling procedures.
- Customer Satisfaction: Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and a customer-centric approach.
- Maintain Ambiance: Contribute to the creation of a welcoming atmosphere by assisting with decor, lighting, and overall ambiance.
Qualifications
- Hospitality Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a front-of-house role.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with other front-of-house and back-of-house team members.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to handle a dynamic restaurant environment and adapt to changing customer needs.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in order taking, payment processing, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of service.
- Positive Attitude: Approach all tasks with a positive and professional demeanor.
