General Manager Needed for Italian Restaurant – $90,000 to $110,000 Salary

Compensation: $90,000–$110,000 per year, based on experience

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule: 6 days per week, weekday day off only. Must be available weekends and holidays.

We are a busy Italian restaurant looking for an experienced General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and help lead our team to the next level.

The ideal candidate must have strong restaurant management experience, knowledge of Italian cuisine, cocktail and bar familiarity, excellent organization skills, and the ability to lead, train, and motivate a team. Spanish communication skills are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities include

Oversee all front-of-house and general restaurant operations

Work closely with the kitchen and BOH team to ensure smooth service

Maintain restaurant policies, standards, and procedures

Make sure employees follow company rules, service standards, and expectations

Hire, train, organize, and develop staff members

Build a strong team culture focused on hospitality, professionalism, and improvement

Monitor labor, sales, costs, inventory, and daily performance

Prepare and understand basic P&L reports

Assist with scheduling, payroll, ordering, and operational organization

Handle guest concerns professionally and protect the restaurant’s reputation

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, service, food quality, and hospitality

Requirements

Previous General Manager or strong restaurant management experience

Knowledge of Italian cuisine strongly preferred

Able to communicate in Spanish

Familiar with cocktails, bar service, and beverage operations

Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills

Able to work 6 days per week

Must be available weekends; day off will be during the week

Professional attitude and ability to hold the team accountable

Experience training staff and improving service standards

Basic understanding of P&L, labor cost, food cost, and restaurant financials
