Overview
The Leader of the House serves as the driving force behind a Gogobop restaurant, responsible for ensuring the team, culture, operations, and restaurant consistently and independently uphold Gogobop's values and expectations.

Expectations
Lead Through People
- Hire, develop, and retain Shift Leaders, Trainers, and Crew Members
- Build a strong leadership bench capable of running daily operations
- Provide consistent coaching, feedback, and accountability
Own the Business
- Take full ownership of restaurant performance across FOH and BOH
- Manage labor, food cost, and controllable expenses
- Build effective schedules aligned with business needs
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and waste management
- Take ownership of all operational matters as they arise — including but not limited to vendor relationships, repairs and maintenance, customer concerns, and team or HR-related situations
Build Systems & Drive Consistency
- Establish and reinforce clear operational standards
- Ensure consistent execution of food quality, service, and cleanliness
- Identify gaps and implement solutions
- Hold Shift Leaders accountable for strong shift execution
Champion the Culture
- Model and reinforce Gogobop's S.E.R.V.E. values daily
- Build a culture that upholds Gogobop's S.E.R.V.E. values
- Recognize performance and address issues directly
- Ensure culture is consistent across all shifts and leaders
Ensure Compliance & Responsibility
- Maintain compliance with labor laws (meal/rest breaks, overtime, scheduling)
- Ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll practices
- Uphold food safety and workplace safety standards
- Maintain proper documentation for performance and incidents
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 2+ years of experience in restaurant management
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold team members accountable
- Strong communication skills with the ability to give clear direction and feedback
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including email, scheduling software, and digital reporting tools
- Ability to learn and uphold food safety and sanitation standards
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
- Reliable transportation to and from the restaurant
