Hiring Cashiers, Line Cooks, & Prep Cooks!

Who We Are: We’re Daytrip Counter! A bold, flavor-maximalist restaurant bringing creative, everyday food to the East Bay. We're building a scalable model that keeps the quality you know and love from Daytrip, but with a more accessible price point and a faster service style. We’re still a new and changing business, and we need a team that's excited to be a part of something special from the ground up!

Pay And Benefits

Hourly Rate

TAKE HOME PAY ~$26-30/hr (Breakdown: $20/hr base rate plus $6-10/hr tips on top).

Tip Pool: Tips are pooled equally among the team (excluding management), and distributed based on hours worked over a two-week pay period. While it can vary, you can expect an additional $6-10/hr in tips on average.

The Roles

CASHIERS are responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring all pick up and delivery orders get distributed with accuracy.

PREP COOKS will be responsible for working quickly on prep (executing the full menu daily) and impeccable execution on the lunch line, including during peak busy periods.

LINE COOKS require impeccable execution on the line, including during peak busy periods, as well as the ability to multi task with prep lists during slower service times.
