Hiring: Full-Time Professional Cook For Busy Food Truck

We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and hard-working professional cook to run a busy food truck in the Elk Grove Village area.

This is a serious, full-time position for someone ready to work long hours and fully manage the daily operation of the truck.

Schedule

• Monday to Saturday

• 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM (sales hours)

• Additional time required daily for cleaning, prep work, and shopping

Main Responsibilities

• Cooking and serving customers during all business hours

• Keeping the food truck 100% clean every single day — inside and outside

• Restocking and shopping for all needed supplies

• Preparing food for the following day

• Basic vehicle maintenance:

– Refilling fuel

– Refilling DEF

– Refilling propane

• Following all safety and sanitation standards

Important Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Clean criminal record — absolutely mandatory

• Valid Food Handler Certificate

• Must be able to park the food truck at their home every day

(Truck must be connected to electricity overnight for freezers and refrigerators)

• Strong work ethic, independence, and ability to work long hours

• Professional cooking experience

Compensation

• Base compensation, with the opportunity for increased earnings based on your ability to drive revenue growth.— paid weekly by check

• Employer covers all costs of:

– Fuel

– DEF

– Propane

– Electricity used when the truck is plugged in at the employee’s home

• Employer will hold one week of pay as a security deposit

(In case of equipment damage or other issues. Fully refundable if everything is returned in proper condition upon termination.)
