Hotel Breakfast Attendant Bilingual Part Time

We are looking to add a motivated food service worker to our Meals team in LA Crystal Hotel, Compton. As a food service worker, you will have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks, learn a variety of skills, and interact with a diverse clientele daily in a fast-paced environment.

What you will be doing

• Sets up breakfast at scheduled time

• Ensures breakfast items are stocked and available to guests during breakfast hours according to company standards

• Maintains cleanliness of breakfast area and kitchen during and after breakfast hours.

• Greets guests and accommodates special requests as needed.

• Ensures counter-tops and machines are clean and tidy at all times.

• Inventory breakfast items regularly; orders or purchases items as necessary and provides all receipts to General Manager.

• Assists in maintaining cleanliness of public areas.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Requires the ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

• Knowledge of, and ability to, appropriately interpret and follow policies and procedures.

• Knowledge of and ability to adhere to safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly

• Ability to meet the demands of the work schedule, to be at work and on time. May occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours. Schedules may vary based on business need.

Job requirements

• Valid California Food Handle Certificate

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy

• Ability to move perform frequent and repetitive movements, including bending and stooping

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull a moderate weight frequently

• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces.

• Ability to follow instructions, directions, and meet deadlines.

• Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand information such as labels and instructions and basic guest requests

• Previous cleaning experience preferred

• Must have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include early morning, evening and weekend shifts

Job Types: Part-time (16-24 Hours Weekly)

Pay: $18/hour + Tips

Time: 5 AM-1:30 PM
