Hotel Public Area Cleaner Bilingual Part Time

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Public Area Cleaner to join our General Cleaning team at LA Crystal Hotel in Compton. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the hotel’s public areas to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for all guests and employees.

What you will be doing

• Cleans and maintains hotel public areas including lobby, hallways, elevators, restrooms, parking lots, stairwells, and more areas

• Sweeps, mops, vacuums, dusts, polishes, and removes trash regularly

• Cleans glass doors, windows, mirrors, and other surfaces to company standards

• Restocks restroom supplies and maintains cleanliness throughout the shift

• Assists with linen deliveries and housekeeping support tasks as needed

• Responds promptly to frontdesk and management requests

• Reports maintenance or safety issues to management immediately

• Ensures cleaning equipment and supplies are properly used and stored

• Follows all hotel safety and sanitation procedures

• Maintains professional appearance and behavior while on duty

• Other duties as assigned

Job requirements

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks including bending, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull moderate weight frequently

• Ability to scrub and clean various surfaces efficiently

• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards

• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks on time

• Basic English communication skills preferred

• Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, morning or evening shifts as needed
