Kitchen Assistant (Part-Time)

Seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join a growing catering team. This role supports daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment and is ideal for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, organization, and teamwork.

**Qualifications**

• Current Food Handler’s Permit

• Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly

• Professional presentation and positive attitude

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

**Job Description**

• Wash dishes and maintain overall kitchen cleanliness

• Sweep and mop kitchen areas as part of daily cleaning duties

• Package, label, and organize catering orders accurately

• Support chefs during prep and service

• Restock ingredients, supplies, and packaging materials

• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times

• Help maintain an organized and efficient kitchen environment

**Hours & Scheduling**

• Hours will vary between 8–30 hours per week, depending on catering volume and events

• A minimum of 8 paid hours per week is guaranteed

• This role is best suited for someone with morning to mid-afternoon availability

• Weekly schedules will be shared every Sunday

• Team members will also receive a monthly look-ahead schedule for upcoming off-site events and larger catering opportunities
