La Gare French Restaurant, has two positions available as part of our kitchen team! We are looking for both a Full Time Line Cook AND a Full Time Sous Chef! Both roles will work with our executive Chef Roger Praplan to prepare dishes from our classic French/European menu, as well as preparation work, cleaning and collaboration on specials. The Line Cook position requires experience working in a fine dining kitchen environment, and is very fast paced. The Sous Chef role is a leadership position which requires prior experience leading a team as it involves directing staff and taking the lead responsibility on ensuring all kitchen operations function smoothly and with high quality output on the day to day. Culinary education is highly desired for the Sous Chef role but is not required.

Prior experience in a fine dining kitchen environment is a must for both roles, experience working in a Steakhouse and/or French/European Cuisine Restaurant is highly preferable! We offer competitive pay, hourly rate is $27 starting for the Line Cook position, depending on experience! The Sous Chef position is dependent on experience and qualifications, please contact us.

Shifts are for Dinner only, 5 +/- nights a week and begin at 2pm for both positions! We will train the right candidate and there is always room for career advancement.
