Line Cook / Part-time in Beaverton, OR (Send Resume to Apply)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. This role is essential in delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring that our guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience. An up-to-date Food Handler's Card is required. An OLCC is not required, but it is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set.

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas.

• Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling techniques are always followed.

• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

• Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.

• Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary needs when required.

• Line Cook/Prep Cook must ensure the dishes are washed, and silverware is polished.

• Since we are a fast-casual establishment (order at the bar), our Line Cook/Prep Cook must also run food to tables.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills.

• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.

• Experience working in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work mo as part of a team.

• Willingness to learn new cooking methods or styles.

• An up-to-date Food Handler's Card is required. An OLCC is not required, but it is a plus.
