A luxury hospitality destination in the heart of wine country is seeking a professional, service-oriented Locker Room Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of the Club’s locker room and fitness facilities while delivering exceptional service to Club Members and Guests. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating a welcoming environment, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and enjoys providing personalized member services in a hospitality-focused setting.
This is a Part Time position with schedule and hours being based on club needs and events scheduled.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain the Men’s and Women’s Locker Rooms and Fitness Center to the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance
- Open clubhouse and fitness center facilities, including turning on lights, organizing areas, and stocking clean towels and supplies
- Inspect locker room and fitness center fixtures and appliances to ensure proper functionality; report maintenance concerns promptly
- Distribute newspapers and maintain organized common areas
- Communicate daily with the Golf Shop regarding events, tee times, and member activity
- Greet Members and Guests warmly and professionally at all times
- Provide personalized services including shoe shining, clothing ironing, and replacing golf shoe spikes
- Assist with issuing lockers, keys, towels, and other amenities to Members and Guests
- Ensure the safety and security of Members’ and Guests’ personal belongings
- Clean restrooms, showers, mirrors, walls, sinks, and floors throughout shifts
- Restock locker room and restroom supplies including towels, toiletries, tissue, and razors
- Monitor and maintain supply inventories
- Empty trash receptacles and maintain overall facility cleanliness
- Secure locker room and shoe room areas at closing
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive demeanor
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and at all organizational levels
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous hospitality, club, hotel, spa, or customer service experience is a plus
