Hello! We are looking for a full-time FOH associate and/or Barista to work with us in our épicerie/patisserie/café. We are open Tuesday through Friday, 8am-5pm, and Saturday/Sunday 9am-4pm. Knowledge of French pastry, viennoiserie, and charcuterie is a plus, but not required. Weekend availability required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide our guests a memorable experience in line with Brand Standards.
Work closely with others to maintain a neat and tidy workspace.
Become a product expert and showing enthusiasm for our niche offerings such as Pâté en Croûte, Viennoiserie, and Pastry.
Provide a genuine sense of interest in our guests experience in a high volume work, fast paced work environment.
Applicant Qualifications
Hospitality first mindset - Consistently display expertise in Maison Nico hospitality and embody warmth and genuine interest in our guests as well as our team. Someone who believes in and appreciates what we do at Maison Nico. Foundational knowledge of French food and French and California wines. 2 years experience working in a restaurant preferred but not required.
1 year working with coffee, espresso, preferred but not required.
The position starts at $20/hour based on experience, plus tips (up to an additional $14/hour). We are seeking friendly, reliable individuals with a good work ethic and love of food.
