Mill Valley Market has been a family-owned neighborhood institution for four generations. We run one of the last full-service butcher shops in the Bay Area, and we take real pride in what we do — quality product, genuine service, and a team that knows its craft.

We're looking for a reliable, customer-focused Meat Clerk to join our butcher shop team.

What you'll do

Help customers find exactly what they're looking for, cut and prep poultry and other product, and keep the retail case looking sharp. It's hands-on work with a team that takes food seriously.

What we're looking for

Someone who shows up on time, takes pride in their work, and genuinely enjoys talking with customers. Weekend availability is required. No prior butcher experience necessary — we'll train the right person.

The details

Full-time, 40 hours per week

Shifts generally run 10:45am–7:45pm

$20–25/hr depending on experience
