Motel Housekeeper

Looking housekeeper with actual motel/hotel cleanings experience. You would be working alone. Depending how busy we are you would get help from front desk.

Core Housekeeping Duties & Responsibilities

• Guest Room Cleaning: Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks) and bedrooms, including vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces.

• Bed Making and Linen Care: Stripping beds, replacing dirty sheets and towels with fresh ones

• Amenity Replenishment: Restocking toiletries (soap, shampoo), drinking glasses, brochures, coffee/tea supplies, and other guest amenities.

• Public Area Maintenance:, public restrooms, elevators, and corridors.

• Maintenance Reporting: Identifying and reporting maintenance issues like broken appliances, light bulbs, or damage to the supervisor.

• Laundry Management: Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens, uniforms, and guest laundry.

• Guest Interaction: Responding professionally to guest requests for extra items or services.

• Lost and Found: Properly logging, securing, and reporting items left behind by guests.

• Operational Responsibilities

• Cart and Closet Organization: Maintaining a clean and stocked housekeeping cart and organizing floor closets.

• Room Status Communication: Updating the front desk/supervisor on room status (e.g., clean, dirty, out of order).

• Turn-down Service: High-end hotels often provide evening services, such as refreshing towels, closing curtains, and preparing the bed for sleep.
