A new restaurant concept is opening in Evanston at the end of May, and we’re building a strong kitchen team. Our menu features classic Italian dishes with a modern, casual approach, alongside a high-volume tavern-style pizza program.

We’re seeking cooks who bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-first mindset. Candidates with at least 2 years of high-volume experience will be prioritized, but we’re open to training the right person who’s eager to learn and grow.

Compensation: $20 - $24/hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of the Executive Chef

• Learn and execute recipes with consistency and accuracy

• Complete all prep, mise en place, station setup, and breakdown

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace

• Support strong communication between kitchen and front-of-house teams

• Follow all health department and food safety standards

Qualifications

• Solid knife skills

• Strong communication skills (English/Spanish preferred)

• Valid Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
