The Bartender Role We’re on the lookout for a couple of highly enthusiastic, skilled, and customer-centric Bartenders to join our Nido’s Backyard team this Spring/Summer season. As a Bartender, you’ll be the driving force behind our guest experience, crafting amazing drinks, engaging with our patrons, and contributing to the exceptional ambiance that makes Nido’s Backyard truly unique. If you’re passionate about mixology, a natural at hospitality, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d be delighted to hear from you! Responsibilities

• Punctuality is essential for scheduled shifts. Ensure you are present and appear well-groomed and prepared for work.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, our unique agave-centric Nido's signature drinks, beer, and wine, with precision and speed.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional manner, offering recommendations and ensuring a positive experience.
• Discuss Agave spirits and food with confidence when requested.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, spirits, mixers, and garnishes.
• Process payments accurately and handle cash and card transactions.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, as well as ABC regulations regarding alcohol service(RBS).
• Collaborate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering as needed.
• Be knowledgeable about Nido's traditional Mexican food menu to answer guest questions and make recommendations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bartender, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting, 5yr minimum.
• Extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, wine, and beer, with a particular interest in agave spirits like tequila and mezcal.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for crafting quality beverages.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is a must.
• Valid ABC Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification required upon hire.

The Server Role We're looking for an energetic, attentive, and friendly Server to join our Nido's Backyard family. As a Server, you'll be the face of our exceptional hospitality, guiding guests through our menu, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and contributing to the lively atmosphere that makes Nido's BackYard so special. If you have a passion for great food, excellent service, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you! Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service to all guests from arrival to departure.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders, offering thoughtful recommendations for both our traditional Mexican dishes and our agave-centric drink menu.
• Efficiently enter orders into the POS system and manage coursing and pacing to ensure a smooth dining experience.
• Maintain a keen awareness of seat numbers and the overall service flow throughout the restaurant.
• Discuss agave spirits and food options with confidence when requested.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure seamless operations.
• Assist teammates as needed, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure efficient and smooth service for all guests.
• Complete opening, closing, and all assigned side work thoroughly and on time.
• Help maintain overall cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming environment for both guests and staff.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, as well as ABC regulations regarding alcohol service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Server, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or outdoor dining setting 5yr minimum.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage, with a genuine interest in traditional Mexican cuisine and agave spirits.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and engaging personality.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain a positive, professional demeanor.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods, walk long distances, and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is a must.
• Valid ABC Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification required upon hire.
