Overnight Restaurant Cleaner – San Francisco | $25–$35/hr | Bilingual

SIDEWRK is a professional commercial restaurant cleaning company operating overnight in San Francisco. We're hiring experienced, reliable deep-cleaning technicians to join our overnight crew. If you know your way around a commercial kitchen and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you.

💵 Pay Rate

• Base: $25/hr

• With experience: $30–$35/hr

• Pay is commensurate with demonstrated knowledge and skill

🕛 Shift Details

• Overnight shifts (typically 10PM–6AM)

• San Francisco locations

• Consistent, recurring work — this is not a one-time gig

✅ What You'll Be Doing

• Deep cleaning commercial kitchen equipment: griddles, flat tops, charbroilers, ovens, and fryers

• Hood cleaning and exhaust system maintenance

• Grease filter removal, degreasing, and reinstallation

• Running kitchen drain snakes and clearing floor drains

• Degrease and sanitize all cooking surfaces, prep stations, and equipment exteriors

• Floor cleaning including scrubbing, mopping, and degreasing kitchen and BOH areas

• Restroom and FOH cleaning as needed

• Proper chemical handling, dilution, and safety compliance

📋 REQUIREMENTS — Please read carefully before applying

• Must have prior experience deep cleaning commercial restaurant equipment (griddles, flat tops, hoods, filters, drains/snakes)

• Must be bilingual (English + Spanish preferred)

• Must have reliable personal transportation — you must be able to get to job sites across SF on overnight schedules; public transit is not sufficient for our hours

• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision

• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, work on your feet all night, and handle cleaning chemicals safely

• Dependable, punctual, and professional — restaurant clients rely on our crew being there every night
