About The Packer Role
Given the emotional nature of our clients' experiences, it's essential that our packer team demonstrates empathy while efficiently completing projects within specified timeframes. Individuals with strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize effectively, and a knack for understanding the broader scope of our work will excel in this role.
This position promises a diverse range of experiences. No prior packing experience is necessary. We provide comprehensive training to set you up for success. If you are an energetic individual who aspires to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others, Managed Moves is the place for you.

Qualifications
- Exceptional organizational abilities
- Ability to be mindful of space and time
- Customer service and goal oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Physical fitness (ability to lift up to 35lbs repeatedly throughout a shift)
- Can work independently or with a team
- Personal vehicle and the ability to transport packing materials to job sites (mileage is reimbursed)
- Clean criminal background
- Smart phone

Compensation
- $18.50/hr during training
- $.73/mile reimbursement when using personal vehicle
- $20.00/hr when training is completed and packer is working independently with clients
- Tips (Avg. $4.00/hr)
- Flexible paid time off
- Pay increases to $21.00/hr after training as a Crew Lead, $21.75/hr after becoming a Packer Trainer
- Annual pay increases
Work Hours
- We service clients Monday – Saturday from 8am-8pm.
- Part-time employees can expect a range of 5-30 hrs/week.
