THE JOB: The Security Dispatcher serves as the central communication hub for the Security Department, relaying critical information between Security Officers and Management. This role involves managing a multi-line communication center, including handling radio and telephone messages. In addition to clerical duties, Security Dispatchers must make quick, informed decisions, particularly during emergencies, while effectively juggling multiple tasks. A strong grasp of departmental policies and procedures is essential for maintaining smooth operations. THE STARTING RATE: $22.00 Per Hour THE DAY-TO-DAY: Continuously monitor cameras, access control systems, and alarm panels to identify and respond to potential security threats in a timely manner. Coordinate and direct security officers to respond to incidents, emergencies, and requests for assistance throughout the property, focusing on prompt and effective action. Maintain continuous coordination with the Global Security Operations Center. Operate communication equipment, such as two-way radios and telephones, to relay critical information between security teams, management, and other departments. Maintain accurate logs of communication, incidents, emergencies, and security activities in real-time, maintaining clear and detailed records for reporting and follow-up.
