Position Summary
Servers are key members of our front-of-house team, responsible for delivering exceptional, guest-first service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We’re looking for individuals with strong communication skills, a warm and professional demeanor, and a passion for hospitality. Whether you're working brunch at Frasca or dinner at Smoke Daddy, your goal is the same: make every guest feel welcome, cared for, and eager to return.
Responsibilities
Live and promote 4 Star’s core values: Professionalism, Positive Attitude, Guest First, Quality/Excellence, Teamwork, and Integrity
Greet every guest with genuine warmth and professionalism
Take and enter food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
Deliver food and drinks promptly, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction
Monitor tables and anticipate guest needs throughout their visit
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, side stations, and assigned sections
Collaborate with teammates to create smooth and successful service
Maintain full knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, modifications, and specials
Handle guest concerns calmly and professionally, escalating issues as needed
Present checks, process payments accurately, and thank guests upon departure
Follow all food safety, alcohol service, and sanitation standards
Attend team meetings and complete required trainings
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of serving experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant setting preferred.
Excellent multitasking, communication, and hospitality skills
Familiarity with POS systems (Toast preferred) and reservation platforms.
BASSET and Food Handler certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Team-first attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Must be able to lift and carry trays or supplies up to 25 lbs
Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motions
Comfortable working in loud, busy environments, both indoors and outdoors
Possible exposure to food allergens, including nuts, gluten, dairy, soy, and shellfish
