Position Overview

Shawafil is looking for a reliable, energetic team member to work as a Cashier / Line Cook. This role combines customer service with food preparation in a fast-paced, high-quality environment focused on shawarma, falafel, and fresh Mediterranean flavors.

Responsibilities

Cashier Duties

Greet customers and provide excellent customer service

Take orders accurately (in-person & phone/online)

Handle cash, credit card, and POS transactions

Answer menu questions and make recommendations

Keep front area clean and organized

Prepare and assemble menu items (shawarma wraps, bowls, falafel, etc.)

Maintain food quality, portion control, and presentation standards

Follow recipes and food safety guidelines

Restock ingredients and prep station as needed
