Slice of Austin - Looking for Cashier & FOH Staff

Slice of Austin is a local, family-owned pizzeria in Austin, TX. Opened in February 2024 by two brothers, our shop is a takeout and delivery–focused concept located near Lake Travis, between Hudson Bend and Apache Shores. We operate out of a standalone building with a convenient drive-thru window on Ranch Road 620.

Our original concept, Slice of Vegas, has been successfully operating inside Mandalay Bay Shoppes in Las Vegas for over 12 years. With Slice of Austin, we’ve brought the same high-quality ingredients, homemade recipes, and proven menu into a fast-casual setting designed for speed, consistency, and great service.

Overview

We’re looking for friendly, reliable Front of House Team Members (Cashiers) for both part-time and full-time roles. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide a positive first impression

• Take accurate orders in person, over the phone, and through online systems

• Handle cash and card transactions responsibly

• Assist customers with menu questions and make recommendations

• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate orders

• Package orders for pickup, delivery, and drive-thru service

• Maintain a clean and organized front counter and service area

• Help manage order flow during busy periods

Skills

• Previous customer service or restaurant experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Attention to detail and accuracy with orders and payments

• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

• Basic math and cash-handling skills

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
