Job Description

Our Sous Chef will act as the second in command in our kitchen, following and enforcing our executive chef’s requirements and guidelines. Our ideal candide is a creive professional, self starter, a leader who is self-confident and willing to participe in creing delicious seasonal menus and meal designs.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Culinary Director/Executive Chef, develop new menu options based on seasonal changes and customer demand. Assist with the preparion and planning of meal designs. Line cook duties Ensure food quality and presention is adhered to by all staff Monitor and record inventory Provide support to cooks with various tasks including line cooking, food preparion, and dish pling. Train new kitchen employees to meet kitchen standards. Adhere to and implement sanition regulions and safety regulions.

Qualificions

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices. Knowledge of Department of Health regulions for restaurant including HCAAP and food safety program Good understanding of MS Office and restaurant software programs. Teamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities. Experience with cering and large group functions Safe food handling techniques are required Work flexible shifts
