Pay: $1,600.00 - $1,900.00 per week

Job description

We’re looking for a strong Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager to join us at Patio American Grill for the season (May–October).

This is a hands-on role in a high-volume kitchen. We need someone who can lead a team, stay organized, and keep things running smoothly day to day. The focus is on managing labor, controlling food cost, staying on top of ordering and inventory, and making sure the kitchen stays clean, efficient, and consistent.

You’ll be working closely with the chef team to run service, support the staff, and keep standards high across the board. It’s important that you’re comfortable jumping on the line when needed and leading by example during busy services.

We’re looking for someone who has experience in a fast-paced environment, knows how to manage a team, and can keep a strong, positive kitchen culture.

What you’ll be doing

Leading and supporting the kitchen team during service

Managing labor, scheduling, and daily kitchen flow

Handling ordering, inventory, and product organization

Keeping food cost in line and minimizing waste

Maintaining consistency, quality, and cleanliness

Jumping on the line when needed in a high-volume environment

Building and maintaining a strong, positive kitchen culture

What we’re looking for

Experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager in a high-volume restaurant

Strong leadership and communication skills

Solid understanding of food cost, ordering, and inventory

Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure

Someone who leads by example and keeps standards high

Position details

Seasonal (May through mid-October)

5–6 days per week during peak season

Fast-paced, high-volume kitchen

On-site in Provincetown, MA (relocation required)

This is a seasonal position, and it’s a busy one, long days, six days a week during peak, but a great opportunity to be part of a solid team.
