Tartine Bakery is growing! We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming opening in Strawberry Village, Mill Valley, CA., in the 2nd QTR of 2026.

A renowned artisan bakery, celebrated for its dedication to the craft of bread and pastry-making, is seeking a full-time AM Pastry Baker for our new Strawberry Village / Mill Valley, CA location. This is an exciting opportunity to join an esteemed institution renowned for its warm atmosphere and commitment to excellence.

Position: Pastry Baker

Compensation: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour (DOE) + Tips

Weekend availability: Weekends Will Be Required (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

MUST BE WILLING TO TRAIN AT ONE OF OUR SAN FRANCISCO LOCATIONS UNTIL THE OPENING!

What You Will Do

Assemble, mix, and bake off (croissants, scones, muffins, tarts, etc.)

Light prep, including on-site mixing of cookies, granola, and glazes

Maintain quality while adhering to our vision and team values

Qualifications

Experience in a bakery, pastry shop, or similar environment preferred

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume production setting.
